At Lulu Island Midwifery, the focus of care is on you,
your partner, and your family during your
childbearing experience. The care I provide is
centered on the belief that birth is not only a normal
physiological process, it is also a significant event
in the life of you and your family. My role during
your care is to support you by addressing your
physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs

Scope Midwifery Practice
In BC, midwives are autonomous care providers during your pregnancy. We have
admitting and discharge privileges at hospitals, but can also provide care at
home.
I will provide comprehensive care during all three trimesters of your pregnancy,
your labour and birth, and the first 6 weeks of your postpartum period..
